Senior Technical Consultant-Biometrics
Base to £65K + Bonus
My client is seeking energetic senior consultants to work with their clients and partners in deploying identity assurance solutions. Applicants must have the willingness and desire to learn and apply new technology. The consultant will be responsible for assigned solution architecture, custom software design and development tasks to integrate my clients biometric technology into a complete identity assurance system. Tasks will also include product configuration and customization of biometric products and applications. The consultants will have hands-on responsibility for implementation and on-site education.
Candidates must be willing and able to act autonomously under the direction of a project Director and/or other principal technical personnel. This company is a leading provider of biometric identity assurance software, delivering proven identification and verification solutions to enterprises and system integrators enabling them to rapidly deploy mission critical identity management systems using biometrics technology. Responsibilities: Derive product and software requirements from proposed system solutions. Design, development, and deployment of customer solutions. Participate in the gathering of functional requirements. Document design decisions and deliver all design collaterals. Development (coding and unit testing) of various product artifacts as required using Web Services, .Net, Java, XML, and SQL technologies. Essential Skills & Experience: Strong interface design and development experience. In particular, experience of enterprise system integration issues (reliability, scalability, transactionality, security etc.) Deep specialist in either .NET OR Java technologies with strong working knowledge of the other. Strong development knowledge of enterprise relational databases (e.g. Oracle or DB2 Server) Experience with web servers and application servers such as IBM WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, and Oracle Application Server for Java specialists. Highly Desirable: experience in information security, biometrics, PKI infrastructures and large government organizations is a major plus. Highly Desirable: Exposure to OASIS XML standards (WSS, SAML.etc) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field. Minimum 5 - 7 years experience in a similar customer facing role. Secret Clearance or higher (desired). International Travel Requirement: 30% - 70%. Background • On-quota as a new business sales representative with a minimum of 6-7 years consistently delivering 100% or above target • A pragmatic mix of new business and installed account management • Experience must have been gained from selling to global Oil & Gas with a deep knowledge of the upstream business and the extraction and refining process • Demonstrate a clear understanding of a complex major account sales process • Ability to sell value to CXX and process improvement to middle management • Trained in one of the recognised sales methodologies, Miller Heiman, Infomentis etc. • Working experience with SI such as Atos Origin and the big 5 such as Accenture, D&T and IBM • Have sold a number of $2.0m plus deals, including software, hardware and services • Be able to articulate the issues connected with delivering a complex project, including: • Change Management & Business Process Design. As this is an EMEA role fluency in English and German would be an advantage. Location would be London or Amsterdam. SAP Alliances Manager
Base to £75K with £130K+ OTE
Alliances Manager urgently required for infrastructure Software Company. In brief: a Partner Sales Manager who will focus on partner/joint sales efforts with SAP and potentially other key SAP partners: Deloitte Consulting LLP, IBM and Hewlett-Packard. You will be responsible for: Development and Management of key Partner relationships (this position will have a focus on SAP. Identification of new business with SI’s/Partners and management of those through the entire sales cycle. Must have the skill to develop a joint go-to-market plan with key partners that fosters relationships and teamwork. The objective being development of joint sales opportunities that leads to business.
Achieve business and revenue targets. Build and develop the contractual framework for partner sales as well as the overall Partner Sales model. Your background: excellent understanding and experience in Partner Management. Deep understanding of SAP, their partner strategy and key areas of their organization that we would ultimately work with. Minimum of 5 years experience in relevant sales/partner sales.
